1. The service
DentalPlan is software provided over the internet (SaaS) that lets dental clinics prepare treatment plans, price them, create PDF quotes and share plans with patients.
2. Accounts and users
- Whoever opens a clinic account confirms they are authorised to accept these terms on the clinic’s behalf.
- The clinic is responsible for the roles and permissions it gives its team and for users keeping their credentials secret.
- Tell us immediately if you notice any unauthorised use of your account.
3. Acceptable use
- The service may not be used for unlawful purposes, in a way that infringes others’ rights, or in a way that harms its security or operation.
- Attempts to access the source code, reverse engineer the software or access it automatically without permission are not allowed.
- The software, its screens, workflows, animations, images, templates and ready catalog content may not be copied, downloaded in bulk, reproduced, passed on to others or used to build a similar or competing product.
- The service may not be accessed, and no account may be opened, to build a competing product, for benchmarking or for competitive analysis. Accounts must be opened by a real healthcare provider or a person authorised to act for it.
- If use against these rules is noticed, the account may be suspended or closed without prior notice; the legal rights of DentalPlan are reserved.
4. Clinic data
Patient and clinic data entered by a clinic belongs to the clinic. The clinic is the data controller for it and is responsible for informing patients and obtaining any consent required. DentalPlan processes it only to provide the service, on the clinic’s instructions. A separate data processing agreement is signed on request.
5. Medical responsibility
Treatment animations, templates and the starter catalog are for information. Diagnosis, the choice of treatment and informing the patient are the dentist’s responsibility; DentalPlan does not give medical advice.
6. Packages and fees
The service is provided with the limits (patients, users, plans, storage) and features of the chosen package. Current packages are shown on the pricing page or in the offer sent to you. Fee changes are announced a reasonable time before they take effect.
The free trial is for getting to know the product. Trial applications are reviewed by the DentalPlan team; DentalPlan may decline an application without giving reasons. When the trial ends, the panel and the plan links shared with patients close until the full version is active; no data is deleted.
7. Availability
We make reasonable efforts to keep the service running without interruption and announce planned maintenance in advance where possible. DentalPlan is not liable for outages caused by internet infrastructure or third-party services.
8. Termination and return of data
When a subscription ends, the clinic may ask for its data to be exported. Afterwards, apart from records that must be kept by law, clinic data is permanently deleted on request or after a reasonable period.
9. Intellectual property
All rights in the software, designs, animations and templates belong to DentalPlan. A subscription grants the right to use them within the service only, for the clinic’s own patients; it transfers no licence or ownership.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, DentalPlan’s liability is limited to direct damage and to the subscription fees paid in the 12 months before the damage occurred. Cases of intent and gross negligence are excluded from this limit.
